With a 100k pot the problem is the
Same as for Fabien

Its impedance between preamp and power amp
The output impedance of preamp make à bridge divider voltage
With input impedance

For exemple for 100k pot
Z out=25k
With Zin= 25k
You have a report 20000÷(25000+20000)=0,44
You spend signal voltage
Vout=vin×0,44
For 1v input you have only 0.44v at the output

I think you need à buffer
Not power
